After a period devoted to spiritual retreat, Astrio returns with a new album and a new show titled Latin Lovers. With a heightened sense of awareness, they present a ritual to bless the audience with lapidary phrases in Latin. Their characteristic concerts thus become cathartic and purifying experiences. Any description falls short of capturing their style, as eclectic as it is incredibly recognizable.

After more than 20 years on stage and making people dance in clubs in cities such as London, Stockholm, Casablanca, Saint Petersburg, and Shanghai, their music reaches the crossroads where electronic music, rock, jazz, and psychedelia meet. Their live performances—charged with energy, experimentation, and good humor—have taken them from Sónar to international festivals such as Salisbury (England), Strawberry or Dong-Dong (China), or Norlys (Norway), among others, and have earned them awards such as the Enderrock for Best Jazz Group, a Butaca Award with the project A Vore, and the prize for Best Tour at the ARC Awards.
